Hello!

Nice to meet you! My name is Suzie. I am a wife and a mom to two adorable boys. I split my time between school pick ups and the kitchen. I am also the cook and amateur photographer and videographer behind the Spatula and Wok.

I never have thought that I would one day start blogging chronicles of the many recipes I have learned from my mother and recipes inspired from what i’ve seen and tasted from my travels.

I am an expat currently living in Pau, France and with Mom thousands of miles away and having no access to asian food the way my Mom prepares it finally pushed me to start to be creative with my cooking more. I enjoy experimenting recipes and taking overhead tablescapes of sumptuous home cooking.

The food i prepare for my family are simple and easy to cook recipes but packed with flavourful and interesting ingredients. That said, i am not a professional chef so please let me know if you find a mistake in my recipes. I hope you will give the recipes a try and I am always happy to receive any comment or feed back you may have.
